The road to Dauphin Island

                                                             This is Biloxi Alabama.
A short drive along the coast from Gulfport.

If you look along the pier you can see the Lighthouse on the beach.

The Lighthouse at Biloxi.

Not a soul on the beach!!!!

We took a detour to look at the Gulfshore Wildlife Reserve.

They allow fishing but no hunting
and obviously no swimming.

If you look carefully you'll see a several turtles on log.

See told you so.

If you look at the right side of the pond, it looks like a log.

                                                             oh no its an alligator!

I'm sure it's got it's eye on us.

The salt marshes stretch for miles.

Quick touch of human interest.

Well time to make our way to Dauphin Island we have a ferry to catch.

Thats the bridge and causeway to the Island

The causeway does seem to go on for ever,

Arrived early and sat and had our sandwiches by the key.
Not miserable, just difficult to smile while eating sandwich.

Views form the bench.

Here comes the ferry on time.

All aboard and on our way Alabama.
