Floating into Alabama.

The Ferry runs from Dauphin Island Mississippi
to Fort Morgan Alabama, across the Mobile Bay.

This Fort Gains on Dauphin Island.

One of the many boats that service the rigs in the bay.

It is busy crossing as it cuts through the main shipping channel
to the Port of Mobile.

This Fort Morgan Alabama. The Fort is on the seaward side.

While we were in Alabama we decided to look at the other part
of the Gulfshore Reserve.

Salt marshes but not as much wildlife on view.

The Boss took this very Arty Farty

There were lots butterfly's but there was breeze
and they did not settle for any length of time

The pictures do not do the plant justice, it was a vivd red.

This is Saw Palmetto in the wild it is used to
make herbal medicine.

Well time to go back across the bridge and find the motel.

We thought with the breeze it would be Mosquito free.
Wrong, walking across the bridge we both got bitten on our feet.
