St Andrews State Park PCB

This is one of our favourite places. We have been here so many times
but the walks and the atmosphere is really magical.

Having lunch and watching the bird's hoping to get the waste of the fisherman.

Sorry the fish is gone.

The east side of the park runs along the inlet to the lagoon
There are boardwalks to take you to the beach.
The sand dunes are protected.

This is looking north to the Port of Panama City.

The land on the other side is Shell Island.
Beyond is the Gulf of Mexico.

Surprising how much vegetation grows on sand.

The south side of the park runs along the Gulf shore.
Another boardwalks to take you to the beach.

Looking west to Panama City Beach.

Looking east to wards the Lagoon entrance

The park interior has several lakes  and marshes.

This is a Soft Shell Turtle moving from one lake to the next.

This is the lake it left.

Not sure this is the reason.

That is a small Alligator just sitting in the sun and watching the day go by.

One of our favourite walks is along the beach by the lagoon.

After a couple of days of rough sea's there are 100's of Jelly Fish
washed in shore.

The sun is starting to set so time to head home.
The car is at the other side of the bay.

Back just in time for the sunset.

Going.

Going.

Gone.
